Itinerary for the
Raytown Marching Festival
Saturday, September 19th, 2009
Raytown, Missouri
˜All Band Members are to wear their blue band “show” T-shirts.
Black LONG socks MUST be worn. Anklet socks will not be allowed.
8:00 AM Rehearse.
10:00 AM End rehearsal.
Change into uniforms. DO NOT FORGET YOUR HELMETS, GLOVES & BERETS.
Load trailer and buses.
10:40 AM Depart for Raytown.
11:00 AM Arrive. Unload percussion equipment at gymnasium doors.
Drum Line prepares for warm-up.
Band members go to the large gymnasium.
11:20 AM Drum Line – warm-up.
11:40 AM DRUM LINE – INDOOR SHOWTIME!
11:50 AM Secure PIT percussion equipment in a “safe area” – TBD.
Everyone goes back to designated area for lunch. Lunch provided by Band Boosters.
12:00 PM Lunch – provided by the Band Boosters. {Be courteous. Be thankful. Be respectful.}
12:40 PM Unload all instruments. Prepare to warm-up.
1:15 PM Rehearse on the warm-up field.
1:50 PM Proceed to the main field.
2:00 PM BLUE & GOLD BRIGADE - SHOW TIME!!!
2:20 PM Clinic – immediately following our performance (with our judges).
2:50 PM Back to the trailers. Put away instruments quickly! STAY in uniform!
3:00 PM ALL: Go to stadium to watch Platte County High School Marching Band.
3:45 PM Awards ceremony. Drum Majors and Directors to the field.
4:00 PM Load buses and depart for GHS.
4:25 PM Arrive and unload. Neatly hang up your uniforms.
